Magnificent rock maestros, each of whom has made big achievements or played an active part as a session musician in the front line of Japanese Rock, joined together in 2002 to form Ra:IN. This new band will be the core of their activities,and will continue permanently. (The band was joined by DIE in 2007. )
The band plays "Loudest Rock" with its own innovative and heavy groove. Their sound is rooted in the fertile tradition of British Rock. Much attention has been paid to their music with the band receiving rare reviews. Ra:IN has got enthusiastic support from fans and critics not only in Japan but in the international music scene.
Since their debut, the band has build an aggressive and powerful movement throughout Japan, Asia, and Europe. They have released 3 albums, a Maxi-single and a live-DVD.
Their style is an original one. Each member's distinguished techniques have enabled the band to create an amazing instrumental rock. The uniqueness of their sound is never categorized into any genre like Hard Rock.
After DIE joined, the band has generated a newly evolved music circle, incorporating diverse aspects such as ethnic music, Electronica, Trance music, or featuring vocals and vocoder in addition to instrumental music. It"s real Mixtured Rock!

The name of ?Ra:IN? was given by the legendary bassist "Masayoshi Kabe" . (Golden Cups, ex. Johnny Louis & Char) The band?s logo mark was designed by Ken Sakaguchi. (Sakaguchi Ken Factory inc.)
