Thom Yorke (Radiohead) ya tiene nueva banda

Thom Yorke has announced that he's got a brand new band together... to play his solo material. Writing on his official Dead Air Space blog, the Radiohead frontman announced, "In the past couple of weeks I've been getting a band together for fun to play the 'Eraser' stuff live and the new songs etc.. to see if it could work!"

The singer revealed that the band would consist of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, 'Head producer Nigel Godrich, R.E.M. and Beck drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist Mauro Refosco.

The band are to make their debut next Sunday and Monday (October 4 and 5) at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Yorke's solo 12" 'The Hollow Earth'/'FeelingPulledApartByHorses' is out now and will appear as a download next week.

Para su próxima e inminente gira, que comienza el 4 de octubre en Los Angeles, Yorke contará con Flea (RHCP) al bajo, Nigel Godrich (habitual en la producción de Radiohead), Joey Waronker (Beck y R.E.M.) como batería y Mauro Refosco (Bebel Gilberto, They Might Be Giants) a la percusión.

Hombre, mejor que los discos de RHCP seguro que es. Eso ni lo dudo.

Radiohead me parecen realmente buenos pero el disco de Thom Yorke en solitario me decepcionó. A ver qué tal con la nueva banda.
